We are totally committed to the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust of our sorority and the vision of our twenty-two (22) Founders.

Membership

Each program year, New Bern Alumnae Chapter successfully sponsors major projects and programs that are designed to improve and enrich the quality of life for less advantaged youth and the elderly in our community service area of Carteret, Craven, Jones and Pamlico Counties.

We are also well-known for our annual fundraising events that support our public service programs and college-scholarship recipients: the Jabberwock every two years and our Crimson and Cream Ball. We also host several additional events and activities that engage and enlighten our community throughout our program year.

Public Service

Our membership is dedicated to impacting social change and fostering life-long bonds amongst members to cultivate true and lasting sisterhood. If you are a soror of Delta Sigma Theta, and would like to re-establish your connection, and experience joy in our sisterhood, please join us at our next public event or sorority meeting.
